Year Five
Bonjour! Welcome to Year 5!
This is an exciting and challenging year in which the children will gain more independence and be able to take more responsibility for their own learning.
The topics this year include The treacherous Tudors and The victorious Victorians! The children will have an opportunity to dress up in costume and see how these amazing historical figures lived.
In science we shall be gazing at the stars and learning about the Earth, Sun and Moon in our very own planetarium!
By the end of the year the children should be able to introduce themselves in French and even order food and drink in a cafe should they feel brave enough!
If you are a parent or a relative and have any questions or would like to help us in the classroom by listening to reader or sharing a skill that you might have, please come and see us at the end of the day. We are very friendly!
