ICT
Information and Communications Technology (I.C.T.) has developed significantly in our school, as we consider it essential that children receive training in the real applications of computers. All classrooms are equipped with Interactive Whiteboards and computers, which are used for word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, simulations and other computer aided learning activities.
The school also benefits from a wide range of peripheral equipment. The children have access to both the Internet and the school’s intranet, and many laptop computers have also been provided, with wireless networking. This mobile computer suite, which is timetabled for all classes to use, provides the resources needed to teach the skills set out in the Q.C.A. scheme of work for I.C.T. Children also spend time in the Computer Suite.
